Overview
Dunkin' Donuts® is proud to be a leader in coffee and franchising. Recognized as the #1 in Customer Loyalty by Brand Keys for two years running and ranked by Entrepreneur Magazine as #1 in our Category, #3 Overall Best Franchise, and #5 Fastest Growing Franchise.*
Quite frankly, people love Dunkin' Donuts. Their love of our brand is driving us to expand in existing markets and launch in new cities where customers crave our delicious, freshly brewed coffee or one of our scrumptious baked goods and oven-toasted delights.
Leadership
Our franchisees are supported by the unparalleled experience of our leadership. Nigel Travis, a veteran of the food-service industry, was named Chief Executive Officer in December 2008. Before joining the Dunkin' Brands, Mr. Travis was the President & CEO of Papa John's (NASDAQ: PZZA), a pizza chain with annual system-wide sales of $2.1 billion and more than 3,300 restaurants throughout the U.S. and 29 international markets. Effective January 6, 2009, he will assume the role from Jon Luther, who will remain Executive Chairman of the Board. Luther, 65, joined Dunkin' Brands in January 2003 as Chief Executive Officer and added the role of Chairman in 2006.
Menu and Day Parts
Dunkin' Donuts is committed to offering an increasing number of menu choices without compromising quality. To meet that obligation, Dunkin' Donuts has brought together a culinary dream team of acclaimed chefs, who use their talent and expertise to create new and innovative menu choices for customers. The culinary team's mission is to provide Dunkin' Donuts customers with the best-tasting, most creative menu items that are fast, fresh and affordable. Two relatively new offerings that meet these criteria include the Oven-Toasted and DDSMART menu lines. Customers enjoy the great taste and fast service of our affordable Oven-Toasted goodness, comprised of Breakfast Sandwiches, Flatbread Sandwiches and Hash Browns. Those seeking better-for-you options have a bounty of great-tasting choices through our DDSMART menu lineup from Egg White Flatbreads to Latte Lite.
